I feel a little bit down today. I don't think it is because of the weather. I don't have any clue as to why I am sad. Do you guys experience as such?
If so, how did you overcome the feeling? or perhaps do you crave something to eat which makes it resolve the sadness you feel?

Sometimes, we feel like that and I don't like it. I fight the feeling.
I tell my husband about it and he would hug me. It somehow makes me feel loved and not sad anymore . In addition, I pray for guidance and understanding in whatever
I also would message our daughter about it and she would cheer me up.
I also eat my comfort foods , whenever I feel lonely.

@sw8sincere Thank you.
I primarily get my strength from my family but of course from God.

I find things to fix or tinker with in the house to channel sadness to creative energy. The Bible also taught me to count my blessings when I feel this way

When I feel sad; I either go out for a long walk or read a book of my choice. But now I have my own business. I can't leave my shop and go out or read a book inbusiness hours. So I ignore my sadness; and continue working and planning abot improving my business. It works.

That's a really smart approach! Finding ways to manage sadness while still being productive is key, especially when you're running your own business. It's great that you've found a strategy that works for you.

@Shivram59 That's a great coping mechanism! Keeping busy and focusing on work can really help push through tough times. It's good that you've recognized it's a mood thing – that's a big step towards managing it. You're doing well.

Sadness is an emotion as important as any other I would do nothing but let it take its own time. Time as you know is a diffusing factor.

@sw8sincere When it is fresh on one's mind there is nothing much one can do to get away from that situation.

That’s a wise perspective. Sometimes, the only way through sadness is to let it run its course. Time has a way of softening even the heaviest feelings.

@allknowing You're right—sometimes all we can do is let time work its magic. It's tough when it's so raw, but it does get easier. We just have take it one moment at a time.

So sad to know that. Are you not certain why are you sad? I don't think so. There's a cause for that. Is it about love? Money? Work? Children? Etc.? The problem can't be solved unless it's defined.

yeah.. it is weird but there aren't any cause at all. I just felt sad . I doubt this happens maybe because my body is getting ready for my period.

If we didn't feel a little sad from time to time, how would we know to appreciate happiness properly?
I usually find that my mood is at a low ebb when there has been very little change in my routine. Generally, making a conscious effort to go out and do something completely different for an hour or two will lift my spirits.
Eating something (such as chocolate) in order to try to make yourself feel better is generally a bad thing! That way lies obesity!

Chocolate always makes me feel better but it also makes me fatter. Going for a walk sometimes helps.
