Cashing in on a name

Generally the term ‘feck’ and ‘feckin’’ is a substitute for the much stronger word: ‘f*ck’. The Irish seem to use ‘feck’ quite a bit and it isn’t as frowned upon as ‘f*ck’ might be. The village of Termonfeckin (sanctuary of [St] Fechin) is making great use of its unusual name and most mementoes from the area make reference to ‘feck’ or ‘feckin’ in some way.
Termonfeckin has several other claims to fame. Evanna Lynch, who played the role of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films comes from Termonfeckin while Arthur Mathews, co-writer of the sitcom, Father Ted, is a resident there.
Our daughter-in-law gave us two lovely coffee mugs which we might put in our caravan once we return home. Do you like them?

That mug is good.
As long as the word goes, it has an interesting story. Sadly it has a bad connotion.

Whatever it is as long as it has a bad connotation, it's still bad. Some people are using that kind naming or calling a thing to make it unvulgar. And this is euphemism.

I think they are cool. I would like to go to Northern Ireland. It was pretty and quaint, but I hear Northern Ireland has the best scenery.

Compared to Australia, Ireland is very 'green'. We always enjoy our time there.
