Ate at Frankie's

My better half loves going out to eat, me not so much but today he wanted to go to Frankie's and we did. He asked the waitress all about where she is going to college and her plans after graduating. He loves to talk to everyone and they love telling their life story. We ordered spaghetti and salad with garlic bread and it was delicious.
Driving up the road I saw that gas prices have dropped quiet a bit. Price at all gas stations was 2.49 except Chevron which is always more expensive than other gas stations. They are charging 2.79 per gallon. We never buy gas there. What's the price of gas in your community?

In simple terms, I always use 4 liters per gallon, although in reality is it slightly less (3.78 to be exact). But for estimating purposes, 4 liters to a gallon is easy to remember. So basically, your petrol will cost a little less than $6 per gallon.

@moffittjc So everyone in the US should stop complaining. (That's meant to be a joke!)

@crazyhorseladycx That would be the thing, but no we can only buy what the gas tank will hold. Can you no longer do that?

Our gas prices are $2.59 at the lowest station and as high as $3.00 at the ones we won't go to.

@LadyDuck Our grocery stores that we usually shop are only about three blocks away but we also drive to doctors appointments, the park and other places. I believe we fill up about every month and sometimes more often.I have two doctors about 25 miles away.

About gas, I have no idea. I have not had a car in ages. When you mentioned eating out I remembered how much my mom and I used to love eating out. I could not go every week but perhaps I will treat myself at some of the cheaper places in town a couple of times a month.

I always find it amusing that the cost of living in California is so outrageously high. I can't believe you pay so much more for the exact same products as the rest of the country!

I thought the gas here is more costly; it is about more than one dollar only (at US$1:Php52).

Right now it's about 3.41 a gallon. It was going way up to $4 near $5 almost! I gasped for when gas prices go up so do bus fares!!!(I secretly pray for lower gas prices so we can keep our bus fares reasonable.)

Hoping so too. There was a huge storm with thunder and lightening this past 2 days! Today was the first day no forecast of lightening, so I ventured out.

did you hear about the oil refinery blowing up in Pa yesterday?
I think that may change our gas prices in a few days or weeks.

Not as expensive as the gas over there, still it's ridiculously expensive.

I noticed the other day that our gas prices had dropped! Here in Gainesville, it looks like the average price is around $2.45-$2.50 a gallon, although I did come across a station yesterday selling it for $2.36.
