Got Rain Soaked Running Errands

Had a few errands to do today. The rain was suppose to wait until later to arrive. Surprise! I got soaked while out and about. Was about 20 miles from home and it stormed. Got home and not a drop of rain here. But it is very cloudy and suppose to come later. I did not melt, it was only water that soaked my hair and clothes. No complaints, love to see the rain. Always glad to be back home after being out around crowds. Ran to Belk to pick up a few items on sale. Others had the same idea. Enjoyed my time out.

you know miss carol, i understand that 20 miles away from your house, it rains there. here two small villages very close to each other. village A has rain, Village B, remains dry. how does it happen?

@Janet357 yes at times I feel that the heat becomes so much that even clouds would feel that they are unable to cause rains!

i know how disappointin' such can be - rain all 'round, nary a drop't'cher place. we'd that here fer o'er a month! so delighted that'cha got wet though, which'll prolly sound odd to some here, lol. fingers crossed ya finally get'cha some, hon. slow, mountain showers first, to open'p that dry land 'fore ya get a soaker :)
