I’m hanging around myLot waiting for my husband to finish watching a football game. He’s not too happy, but I am!
I had a wonderful day! I walked and read to a group of toddlers at the library. Later in the afternoon I had a massage, then a pedicure and manicure. I get powder dip French manicures, but this time I opted for a very faint sparkle powder. My nails twinkle - slightly. 
Tomorrow the cleaning lady comes and I also have a hair appointment.
I will look very good on my Friday date night with hubs. Would you believe he hasn’t even noticed my nails, yet, and it’s almost bedtime!

He didn’t even notice that I had my hair cut shorter than he likes.
When I showed him my nails, he thought they looked shiny. He still hasn’t seen my toes. Why waste my breath?
Thank you! We had a wonderful dinner and lots of laughs. Good to be home though.

@DianneN That's in preparation for when she'll hang that Olympic gold around her neck. I'm sure the smile will be as big or bigger.

Can't go wrong with a beautiful french manicure, and sparkle powder, I bet your nails are looking pretty especially in light with the sparkles. :)

Hi, the ice princess looks nice, she has 2 medals, did she win a competition or any contest ?
I hope your husband pays attention next time. I always flatter my girl friend fot her looks, I pay attention to details like her nails,rings, shirts, smell, pants. She like my paying attention to details :-)
Why won't you join him and watch the football game too ? Maybe you can bring some easy food like cookies, nuts, some juice...have a good time with hubby and maybe he will pay attention to your hobbies.

@DianneN I'm happy for you to read about your husband. I wonder how come the israeli coach can skate on ice if we don't have ice naturally in israel, he probably trained on roller blades lol.
To be honest, I used to skate on rollerblades when I was 13 years old. I went a little to ice skating. There was an ice space that was cooled down with machines and electricity. It must have cost a fortune to maintain that ice.

Thank you! The Ice Princess actually won 3 first place medals that day in jumping, spins, and artistry competitions. One of her coaches is Israeli, and one was one of the head coaches at the Olympics.
My husband is very thoughtful and loving in so many other ways. He's very complimentary, too, however he isn't into small details. I'm always changing my nail colors and after all these years, he takes it with a grain of salt. lol. Just keep being a good boyfriend to your girlfriend.

@stringer321 Ice is expensive to maintain. Ice rinks are all over the country here and even in Florida where it's hot year round. Glad you had the opportunity to skate on rollerblades and on ice.

@DianneN GD looks like she's still loving her skating. Can you take a picture of the nails? With my littlies, I'm required to notice their sparkly shoes, shirts, etc. But I'm still capable of not noticing a new haircut or nails on Ms Horse.

@TheHorse She is still loving her skating and is also doing synchronized skating, too, to help with her blade placement. Thanks.
The sparkles in my nails are so tiny, but perhaps someone will take a photo at dinner tonight and my nails will look extra shiny. I may post tomorrow if there is a photo.

She's beautiful, in every way, shape, and form! Jay didn't notice, when I got five inches cut off my hair So, I went back and had another four inches cut off. Then, he noticed! lol
