That'd be what the hubs told me 'fter I'd unloaded, bag by bag, then carried said 40lb bags 'f wood pellets through a maze from the end 'f our long driveway to the 2nd garage. 30 times I repeated this process. Carried 3 'nto the house, findin' the porch stairs quite the challenge. Yup, 30 bags X 40lbs meant that lil ol' me hauled 1200 lbs 'f schtuff. Stacked't nicely'n said garage. 'fter a short break, I then 'nloaded 50lb. bags 'f horse feed 'n hauled those o'er an acre to the feed barn. Why'd someone do such a thingy? Necessity 'n the sheer laziness 'f 'nother household member. He'd the audacity to laugh't me when the evenin' feedin', scrubbin' water tanks 'twas done. Why? Coz I headed straight fer the tub. Knowin' that the magnesium from epsoms salts'd feed those muscles not utilized that fully'n o'er 8 yrs. To make certain I could function come morn. Sore? Ya bet'cha! Aint a part 'f my body that aint screamin'. I continue to move, slatherin' myself'n magnesium oil. If'n I give'nto such, I'll be doomed. Might need to keep the aunt 'round fer a couple days though, jest'n case. She can drive me nuts 'n take her 2 hours to feed the critters, but't least they'd be fed. Wish me luck!

outside 'f goin' to town'n fetchin' all that? nope. they loaded such fer him'n he jest brought't home. i did get that soaker last eve. cannot do hot water, drops my blood pressure dangerously low. did take 'nother warmish shower this morn, slathered'n more magnesium oil. 've been keepin' busy cleanin' here'n the house (can't do that when he's home, 'nterferes with his naps 'n t.v.). fixin' to re-slather'n head back outdoors to tackle more. 'tis disgustin' what he's done to the place.

yes ma'am, 'twas lots when one's not use to such physical labor 'n weight. jest slathered'n some more magnesium oil 'n gettin' ready to head back out to the mess. she's slower'n molasses, but knows where/when'n how much all get fed. if'n i can't make't down the porch steps 'r 'cross the pasture, she'll feed 'em fer me. hopefully such'll not be needed, nice to've that safety net though. rest's the enemy when one's such. 'llows stiffness to settle which's hard to get rid 'f.

Wow, that's quite a job! But wheelbarrow? I would use a wheelbarrow I think, at least if it's flat. I've also thought about getting something to make the horses carry their own food if necesarry, some of those harnesses that you use for walking in the mountains when the horse carry lots of stuff. I've just walked across all of Vienna for more than a week, so I'm just a bit confused. Coming back to normal life and finding out what I need to do and what I don't need to do now, but later, and all the things I want to do but don't need to do and sorting them from the things that other people mean I should do but I really can't be bothered.

@crazyhorseladycx My pony has so much energy, he would probably enjoy some heavy loads. Some times he's spinning around in the evening, trying to talk to both of his neighbours at once while eating both hay and oats at the same as drinking water. I should have had a harness for carrying or driving, but it's so much leather! I wouldn't know where to start ... I've found some new hiking routes and made some hiking plans for next year too. Haven't had time to sort out my pictures yet, but hopefully during the week. Not quite sorted out my head yet either, so I tend to finish my sentences in German ;-)

@Torunn he sounds like a joy! worked with the 4 here this morn. some're learnin' jest voice commands whilst the other 2 're gettin' refresher courses. 've still not thrown a leg o'er that mare...not 'ntirely true, i got'n. the world spun 'round (thanks, vertigo!) 'n i did my best to get off gracefully. sigh. perhaps later this year? 'r the next. brilliant ya made'ja some new routes fer next years trip, hon. i'm sure y'ave hundreds so's gonna take a bit 'f time. i'm gigglin' o'er the harness'n all that 'schtuff'. 'tis been many years since i've worked with such myself 'n prolly'd be most mystified 's to what went where'n when, lol. which reminds me, i need to start bringin' all the gear'n fer some t.l.c. coz 'tis been a while. need to get such done 'fore the comin' holiday. the daughter, eldest grands 'n their 2 pups 're tryin' to come fer thanksgivin'. havin' saddle racks scattered 'bout 'd prolly not be the best 'f ideas. 'tis wonderful that'cha know diff'rent languages. i've nough troubles these days with jest english.

couldn't get the wheelbarrow through all the crap out'n the drive 'n garage. 'd to walk sideways through part 'f the garage jest to reach my destination. such's now been cleared'n he's gonna be spittin' nails when he returns'n sees what 'tis been done. i'd thought 'f usin' the horses fer laborious thingies, but to me they aint beasts 'f burden. 'sides i've no harnesses 'n 't'd take some time to train 'em fer such. ugh, don't'cha dislike when folks can't make'p their minds what'cher 'pposed to be doin'? good fer ya, hikin' all 'cross vienna - sounds most magical. ya no doubt got many pics that i hope ya share.

It sounds like we need to have a cleanup party at your house. You did lots of work. Cold weather does a trip on my muscles. I have muscle relaxers but cannot take them and work. Not sure if you can have it, dietary wise, but traditional V8 juice helps us when we have muscle spasms and it is fast working. I wish I could travel the country and visit my friends, but I will be working the rest of my life to pay off medical bills.

yes ma'am, one's truly needed. the hubs's 'lready started clutterin' what i tended. lots 'f battles 'f ensued. can't take muscle relaxers outside 'f valerian root. arnica helps 't times, too. the other schtuff jest knocks me out cold, without me e'en bein' 'ware. my body jest doesn't do well with pharmaceuticals. i've a glass 'f v-8 daily :) great schtuff 'n full 'f wonderful nutrients. ran out 'f my homemade schtuff a couple months 'go. since i'd not mater crop (thanks grasshoppers!), 'twas not able to make more. so, havin' to purchase such't the store. still purty good schtuff. i hear ya, don't reckon i'll e'er get these paid myself. still workin' some down from 2013. seems ne'er endin'.

You muscle woman you! My goodness you should've had help with that . . . or at least some kind of dolly or something! Not too long ago I bought a 30lb bag of bird seeds - although it wasn't too bad, I had a certain problem getting it in and out of the trunk . . . I can imagine 40 or 50lbs (and holy cow multiple times) and that would've been a doozy for me. Why did he not help you - and oh my gosh did he actually laugh ? Since Hubby still aches from that broken rib plus he has that lower back issue, I forbid him to do certain errands/chores and I yell if I see him trying to carry stuff . . . my goodness I can't believe you had to haul all of that yourself! I hope the soreness afterwards wasn't too bad or last . . . you deserve a full on luxurious massage treatment!

i could'a used a dolly, e'en a wheelbarrow, but couldn't get 'em through the nightmare first garage to get 'em to the second. i'd ne'er gotten these out'ta a trunk. luckily the yukon sits where such's 't least hip level. why didn't he help? dang gal, did'nt'cha know such's beneath him? i did put'n my weight belt ('d to find't, aint used 't since i hauled hay prior to major crash'n burn) to protect my back. 'twas sore'n a tad worried, but 't least i 'twas smart 'nough to take precautions - unlike the hubs. lots 'f water, magnesium oil 'n ice 'long with stretches'n keepin' busy kept most't bay. ne'er 've 'd a massage, luxurious 'r not :) 'tis'n my bucket list though.

@crazyhorseladycx How are your muscles today? Oh dear that you even had to use that belt . . . Hubby and my dad have one of those too. I know you know how to take all the precautions, but still . . . that was definitely not a small load - I mean, how on earth did you actually get them to the 2nd garage - by dragging these bags? I picture that you're so strong that you could lift your hubs on your own and put him in the 2nd garage! I've only had a massage once, but that was for my leg injury - and omg I was going in and out of consciousness during this painful process . . . but I'll tell ya it made me feel like I could fly afterwards. Otherwise I've never really had a proper massage either.

@much2say with the weather here, they've taken to protestin' 'long with all else. 't least the storm hit'n didn't dawdle much. those're the worse. no ma'am, i picked 'em out'ta the back 'f the yukon'n carried 'em right 'gainst my body, one by one. if'n mad 'nough, i could prolly pick him'p 'n throw him' cross the 1st garage 'n 'nto the 2nd. not so sure i could carry him that far, lol. oh, i bet such 'twas horrendous! thankfully such 'twas instant improvement though. i could use me some'f that :)

Your work makes my head and back spin. I can't imagine doing all that heavy work. When I bring in groceries, I roll my garden wagon to the car's trunk and load it up. At least that way the heavy bags get to the deck steps without me packing them. I do the same for the 50 pound bags of chicken chow- hubby hauls the bag up the steps cause I can't. I'm sorry for your problems.
