when we were kids, washing the dishes was our least favorite chore

I remember the time when were all living in our parents' house, when we were still young, each of us had his own task. But when it came to washing the dishes, nobody wanted to do it. It became a long debate in the congress who would wash the dirty plates because the very person assigned to that insisted always, she did a lot already. In the end, it was our father who would do it. What about you, what was your least favorite task when you and your siblings were still kids?

We did not have to do dishes. But we must make our beds, set the table and clean it up after the meals. I hated that and I still do

My brother and I had to share the chore of doing the dishes. One week I had to wash and he would dry and the next week it was his turn to wash and mine to dry. Now I'm happy to have a dishwasher!

It's funny how we perceive things. After the dishes were done in our home they moved the furniture aside and we danced. So I didn't mind it much. It was fun to dance to all different kinds of music. That didn't answer your question though. I didn't like to put coal in the furnace at all.
