I hate winters

Really? Why is that so. When I toured in Auckland New Zealand it was winter but my skin did not turn black. Maybe because I wore 6 clothes

At least we are the same in disliking cold temperature.

I cannot imagine perhaps the hazy winter sun that usually comes out. Perhaps this link can help you through another winter season

Black? I thought some turn tan? I wouldn't know. I get super white during winter and tan during summer.

I have heard this before though never experienced it before though i live in a cold place .|Instead i feel my skin is more glowing in winter but dry.Try applying olive oil and also drink loads of water that also helps. Amazing how our skin is affected but that is something we can see how about those organs that we cannot see. God knows how climate affects them..

But I think getting tan colour is not bad too. It gives a dusky look...I mean it's personal

maybe the ultraviolet rays from winter sun is much stronger than in summer? You could try to wear hats or long sleeves outside to block the rays.

I guess it's more appropriate to use the word "tan" instead of black hehe. Maybe you really have that skin color(?)

May be you just venture out in sun during the winters, even if you do not sit in sun in one place? Also it could be due to dry winds and more pollution?

@Starkinds Interesting question! But I'm sorry to say I have no answer. I've never heard of or noticed such a thing of one's skin getting darker during the cold.

I would think of it as having a winter tan. My skin burns in the summer and I look like a lobster.

Sorry, but I have no idea. But the winter season sounds fun. We don't have it here
