A New Month, A New Challenge

It is already November here in Germany. Time is really fast. Soon it will be Christmas. It is past midnight here but I am still awake while drinking my sleeping tea and Mylotting. My last day of October was busy. I was baking hazelnut cupcakes and plum cake streusel with my friend. We have baked 30 pieces of these cupcakes. It was the first time I have baked these cupcakes from a hazelnut cake recipe which I have baked more than 2 decades now. My friend and I tasted what we have baked and we loved the taste of the cupcakes. We will eat these yummy goodies with our friends tonight. Do you already have plans for this month of November? Your cupcakes don't have much frosting so we would call them muffins here. Trick or treating was postponed due to a big rainstorm so I am taking my kids trick or treating tonight. It's very windy and chilly out but no rain thankfully.

@shaggin I see. I love to make a huge butter frosting but it would be a waste as my friends and the children are not so fun of sweets. Thanks.

We did not put a lot of frostings as most of us are not fun of so sweet frosting @shaggin. I hope your weather is fine now. Have a nice weekend!

@thelme55 Really you haven't eaten a pilinut yet. It's delicious also. It's nut can be made into different kind of candies and pastries. The pilinut itself when cooked is delicious dipped in a salty dip of very small fish.

I have no plans for November. I baked yesterday savory appetizers, I have frozen most of them. I like to have a drink during the weekends with some appetizers.

I used 200 grams grated hazelnuts for 30 cupcakes. My friend and I has a vlog about baking these cupcakes but it is not published, yet. Thank you @hereandthere.
