One month from today we will be back at our home in Florida and will have to say so many goodbyes before we fly south. Goodbye to our vacation house Goodbye to our two precious sons Goodbye to our darling granddaughter and grandson Goodbye to our fabulous family Goodbye to our wonderful friends Goodbye to our dear Doodles the cat But, hello paradise! This year will be better. We plan to fly north to see everyone more often.

Florida just can't wait until your arrival, so we can get the party started!

@DianneN The emotions are understandable. But you'll feel much better when you get here and get settled in, and relax in the lounge chair by the pool for the first time!

@moffittjc You are right. It happens every year here in CT and in FL when it’s time to leave. I’m stopping my replying to go kiss Doodles this minute.

You made me smile. I needed that. I’m going through my mixed emotions thing again. I feel manic depressive.

Yes, we decided to become residents last year, so our house up north is now relegated to a vacation house. We were sick and tired of the snow and bitter cold winters.

@DianneN so the house up north is like a halfway house now. You've got a very nice life.

@Alexandoy Yes, it’s our home, but eventually we will sell it. Thank you. We worked hard early on to have the life we have today. Hard work does pay off!

Yes, now we can fly back and forth and at least our younger son won’t have the responsibility of watching the cats.

We won’t be home until sometime in June. We will try to go north as often as possible, but hopefully not when it’s snowing. You are right. I will miss them terribly, but if time allows, they’ll come for a visit.

@Nakitakona We became residents of Florida last year, so we have to live there for at least 6 months and 1 day.

@DianneN So that's long enough. It would take you 7 months more to go before the end of your vacation with them.

Good for you that you have two places to shuttle to and from whenever and wherever of the two you would like to stay and live for a while.

@DianneN I go to the Daytona Beach area. I have been going there for 55 years every summer for 2 weeks and I still find new things to go see and do. I love it. Hoping to retire there.
