A cup of coffee and a friendly chat

I headed off to Target this morning to pick up some much needed supplies. Once I had everything, I went to Starbucks for a holiday drink and something to eat. I got settled at a table by the window so I could see my ride coming and I brought out my phone to read for a while. I had also brought my journal so I could do some writing. As I was sitting there, another older woman came and put her things on the table next to me. And then she came over to me and began talking. I can only assume that she chose me since everyone else there was very young! She talked about all her aches and pains, the impeachment hearings and so much more! When she returned to her table to do her own reading, I managed to do a few surveys on my phone and then my ride was coming to bring me home! It was a wonderful respite and change from being home so much. I came home feeling so uplifted and ready to take on the rest of my own day. I hope you've all had a good day, as well! Peace Claudia
