I am working today, and it has been a very busy Saturday here, the library is full and we had a presentation of a new book.
I needed to call 911 because my colleague's daughter ate a salad that probably had something that she is allergic to. She started to have breathing problems and became all red and swollen. She is at the hospital now.
I still have some groceries to buy later but the weather here is so awful (cold and rain) that I will probably go home and buy what I need tomorrow

't least busy days helps the time go faster, eh? jest awful 'bout yer colleagues daughter, sure hope she 'tis 'lright. so many 've food allergies these days. 'tis most scary.
cold'n rain? ick, saddened y'ave such, hon. 'twas a beaut 'f a day here, though chilly'n the morn. a toasty 65(f). didn't e'en need more'n a light o'ershirt to tend the critters this eve.

@nela13 so relieved to read she's 'lright. scary schtuff, those allergies. hopefully they'll run some tests'n find the source(s) so's such can be 'voided.
well, 'twas good weather 'til yesterday eve. now we'd be blanketed'n clouds, temp 'tis 30 degrees cooler 'n the winds 're startin' to pick'p 'gain. like to froze this morn tendin' the critters. 3 layers 'twas jest not 'nough!

I realize this is a few weeks old, but I hope that your colleague's daughter is okay now.
My day (Sunday) has been good. I've spent some of it cleaning, and some of it earning. I need to go read some, and maybe watch youtube videos.

She is 15, it was an allergic reaction and she is receiving an antihistamine now. Yes, it is very scaring. Thank you.

@nela13 it's good that she's already a teenager. But for a girl of 5 or 6 who is having breathing difficulty would be alarming.

My son and I are on a camping trip this weekend, and as soon as we set up our tent Friday night, it started pouring down rain. It stormed all night long, and flooded our whole campsite. It was a crazy night!

@nela13 Everything got soaked, including inside the tent. We were basically sleeping in a big puddle of water. However, today was cold, sunny and beautiful, so we just hung everything up to dry while we were out doing fun things.

There is always something going on in your life! Hope the girl will be okay.
I remember shopping in cold and rainy weather. I don’t blame you for going home.
It was a beautiful day here, and I made meatballs and hamburger patties for the freezer.

Last Saturday was gloomy but it didn't rain but sudden strong wind was felt for a few minutes though there was.no typhoon signal.
