Vacuuming the living room this morning, and here in the 'office'...where I sit in this chair all day.... I hear something loudly rattling in the vacuum, and what do I find on the floor!? A teeny drill bit! What the hell is that doing here, of all places?! I refuse to believe it means I am going to be screwed! I mean I found it BEFORE it killed me or the vacuum! Maybe a signal of some difficult times accompanied with some good luck?? lol I can handle that! (I took the picture of the bit with that dime I found yesterday to show the size of it.. two good lucks?)

I keep trying to see the good side of things, but....the world is a bit upside down right now.. A small 'bit' of luck counts. lol

You must have a pretty powerful vacuum cleaner if it can suck up bits of metal. I don't know if mine would.

@EeWhan Mine would do that. I have a Henry which is the best cleaner I have ever had. I expect you have them in the US.

It didn't suck it up but it rattled loudly as it tried! lol.. the brushes were rattling it around which is what got my attention. Luckily I shut it off and found the drill bit on the carpet.. lucky!

I had to laugh at your post - 'screwed' has different connotations over here in England

Isn't that a bit strange? It is certainly a tiny bit.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Some weird findings and happenings all over the place. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow you'll find every sock that disappeared in the dryer over the past 10 yrs.

They're all in their Tupperware collection as lids that don't fit any containers. That's where lost sock souls go.
