Yes, I did. In fact, in my country, most people have a nickname, usually given by their parents. I have 3, 2 of which I was given by my mum. The last one is the one that stuck and friends and family sometimes call me by. My youngest sister called me 'Lala" when she started talking but couldn't pronounce my first name

My nickname is Linus. I was dragging a blanket around a church on a night we stayed there. My friend called me Linus. Linus is a character in the Peanuts comic series by Charles Schulz. It ran in American newspapers for years and was made into animated features. Linus always carried around a blanket.
I started writing as akalinus, also known as Linus.

a few of my nicknames have been B, Ms. B, Bree, Brenana (like banana), and one of my friends thought I looked like a Debbie so they called me that for a while as a joke.

@kepweng depending on what they call you. Some are endearment. If they call you.names that mock you then it's rude.

I don't think so off the top of my head, but my sister was always called Benny by my dad. I had completely forgotten that one until I read the post. I wonder if her kids know??

I don't think I ever had a nickname and I don't remember any friends or family having them. So what is your nickname then?
