The Easter bunny's egg delivery has now been deemed an 'essential service'

At the top of Australia’s political hierarchy is the prime minister who runs the country with the help of his colleagues. Each state has a premier who looks after his own little patch.
Because West Australians have been banned from moving out of their geographical regions, a little girl was apparently worried that the Easter bunny would be banned from visiting the children at Easter.
So our premier has now made a public announcement, and no doubt it will be on the news tonight, that the Easter bunny has been made exempt from the restrictions. He is now on the list of ‘essential service people’ as a ‘deliverer of eggs’ and will be able to visit all the children. A photo of his certificate was displayed so that all minds can now be at rest. Roll on Easter.
The photo is of a rabbit at the Perth Royal Show. I wonder if he’ll be helping deliver eggs at Easter.

Vince often buys me an Easter egg. I hope he doesn't forget. Maybe I should remind him.

First time I've heard the Easter bunny being considered an essential service.
I'm guessing the tooth fairy and even Santa would get the same treatment.

I thought that was just an American thing? We have Easter eggs and there is a glut of them. Everything else is rationed but you can buy as many chocolate eggs as you want.
I am not sure if you can survive on chocolate alone, but I am willing to give it a try.

@JudyEv Easter is big over here too, I meant the Easter bunny.
I've never heard of the Easter bilby. Is it nice to eat?

@JudyEv You would think that, knowing that this is what all of us are craving right now, that the mainstream media would be pumping out story after story of good things happening in the world. Instead, they still keep shoving bad news down our throats.

@JudyEv I'm sure it's very disconcerting. I'm getting frustrated with stores not having many ordinary food items in stock, inability to place an online order and being unable to shop.

The easter bunny is considered a burglar by the owners of our house. The labs are steadfast that no burglars are allowed in the house at any time.

@JudyEv we have to smuggle them into the house. They are taxed - all peeps are property of the Labs.

Little Miss was worried that Easter Bunny wouldn't be able to come this year. I assured her that he would be here and leave her something.
Glad that he will put smiles on the little faces, it is essential to keep them happy.
