Clothes got stuck at the Laundary

The bedsheets are sent to the laundary for washing and ironing and the other clothes for ironing after they get washed in the washing machine The lockdown fiasco meant we could not get the clothes. Finally the guy turned up at the gate with the clothes. I left instructions that he should leave them at the gate and the money was also left there. The bag in which the clothes arrived was washed, the wrapping paper put in the incinerator and the clothes were kept in the hall for three days - just in case. Further clothes will not be sent until the end of the lockdown period.

It is good you finally found a way to get them back safely. I would think the heat from the iron would kill the virus, except for whoever handles them the last time.

At least you were able to get your clothes back. I’m so glad we picked ours up before the virus outbreak, or I’d have to throw everything away to feel safe,

That is fake news. Fake news that says one must throw away clothes that come from the laundry. There are ways one can retrieve the situation. I used those ways. The clothes stayed in the hall for three full days before they came to the bedroom. The paper wrapper was put in the incinerator and the plastic bag was washed and kept outside for a week.

Good that you got them back and you took all the needed precautions. This mysterious virus is really scary and better to take all needed precautions.

@allknowing Not at all. This one is a real notorious and mysterious virus. It's spreading like a wildfire. We need to take all possible measures to stay safe.

My protective "thing" is not eating any food that I have not cooked myself in my own house. I can't imagine eating a rice ball that someone else touched, right now.
