How to detoxify my mind

I really need an answer to this at present. My mind is chocked with all types of thoughts and feeling of being betrayed. No matter how good we do for them some people will never value it and will keep finding flaws. They will keep gossiping behind your back. And now I really want to remove these nasty elements from my life completely..I have forgiven them many times earlier but this time my threshold is reached. I really don't want them back in my last life. And I really want to gather strength to move ahead.. And for that I need to rejuvenate my thought process. Is there any way of doing this?

Forgiveness is the key, as you noted you have done that. In my faith, we have to ask Jesus to take those thoughts away, but I don't know what your belief system says. I also think we have to retrain ourselves. I once had a person I worked with that I needed to forgive. Every day I would see them and pray in my heart "Lord, bless that person with joy and health, bless their family" and so on. Pretty soon I stopped resenting and fearing them. It was pretty amazing.

@amitkokiladitya It is serious problem. It is story of most of India families. Indeed parents always favor their daughter and forget that their daughter in law is also daughter of some one. I am not saying that parented don't favor her daughter but they must be maintain balance.

@anil02 she herself broke her house last year and seperated from her mil. and now she did the same hete. I have done so much for her and now all I did was lost somewhere

Im so happy to see you I'm really disturbed at present. Some big issues have popped up. My sister in law has created tensions between me and my mother in law. And now things are bad to such an extreme that we no longer cook together

Just relax my friend. Are you a music lover, Hear some melodies or what you want. There is Temple opens simple go there, if possible go put from your house you get good relaxation. Just go for walking surrounding your home, but do the sit in home. It give negative thoughts always. Just go out. Spend out side at least 1 hour. It give good relaxation.

To have peace of mind, ignore people who mostly bite behind your back. Stop thinking negative, let things go and forgive them not because they want but because of your inner peace, forgive but never forget the lesson, good luck dear.

I can understand your situation as people keep cheat us from behind even we doing good. Its a great to forgive but everything has limit. We can't change past so just forget them and remove all things of them from mind as well from contacts too. I know its difficult because you are suffering and you know well but for them you can't spoil your feature. By chanting god i am sure you will feel positive and way to option of your problem.let hope you get relief from it soon.

We should remove all the things that disturbs our positiveness and hope. Just Don't care about those kind of people. They have very bad mentality. Just ignore and concentrate on your things.

Forgiveness doesn't make you forget the pain. Forgiveness also doesn't mean you should leave yourself wide open to experience the pain again and again. Jesus forgave those who crucified Him. But He's not going to get crucified again! He made that plain to His disciples. As for clearing your mind of thoughts. It's hard to do but it's not impossible. Just recognize that focusing on negative stuff drags you down. Then ask yourself: “Do I want to be down?” Your answer should be NO. If it is, then you should also KNOW that you have to be the one to pull yourself up. Nobody can do it for you. Hope this helps.

Let go of the negative feelings and if you can avoid them for a while then go for it. We cannot please everybody, no matter what we do they always have something to say to us; either good or bad. Focus on the things or people who gives you happiness and inspiration. It's hard to dwell on that situation, it's very stressful. Hope it helps!:)
