Eating Out Will Be Like This

Since the lockdown, I haven't eaten a meal in a restaurant. I cannot imagine myself eating a meal with a face mask. Should we modify our face masks? Perhaps we need to have a special face mask for this matter. How can you handle eating in a restaurant? Image Credit: media3.s-nbcnews.com

Same thing here. I will just order online if possible. But I am still going to re=consider this idea.

the food houses here can already accept dine-in, but sad, because the customers should be 3 feet apart, and all utensils are plastic.

I wonder how fast they can eat while having face masks. I really cannot imagine myself eating a particular meal in a restaurant. It seems we need to adapt these changes because of this pandemic.

@ridingbet It is really troublesome. That's why I control myself not to eat if being out to go to the wet market. I used to eat snacks before. Now, I cannot do it because of this.

@Shavkat maybe they can pull down their masks if they put in to their mouths a tablespoon of food, and put back the mask if they chew their food? hahaha

This is wrong way of wearing a facemask. You could get infected and also spread the virus to others. Is eating more important than the health of others. How careless and irresponsible you are. This is how people are going to react to your post.

I am sure they will react to the same thing I did with this photo. It is really not an ideal way of eating with a face mask.

It is the best option. I rather eat home-made food. In this way, we can be safer and more comfortable eating at home.

Our local place has a nice solution - they just serve meal at the terrace outside. I've been there recently even with a pram, very cool. They also have this water mist thing, very refreshing.

It is nice that it can be served outside. Do they observe social distancing?

@Shavkat I wouldn't say that, but I also wouldn't say that there were people at every table. Maybe three of tables were occupied so it can be counted as social distancing.

I do not eat in restaurants these days. There are too many people and I like to avoid them. I would get takeout and eat it at home.

In my city, I haven't seen people eating in big restaurants. I think it is possible but customers are limited to do it.

I don't try to go restaurants after lock down. But I think there is no need to wear the mask while eating. No one eat by wearing the mask. We should wear the mask while entering the restaurants after that we can remove it. It is just my assumption.

Normally we can just remove it before eating. However, we will be exposed. Since experts claimed that COVID-19 is an airborne virus.

I rarely go to restaurants even before this pandemic and I probably won't be going for a long time because of it. I like what I make at home.

Most fastfood now accept dine in here. But they are limited. Yesterday, I saw around 2-3 groups dined in at KFC.

I haven't seen the town proper. I think fast food needs to limit people to dine in, right? In my city, jeepneys are limited to have their passengers and they should at least 10 only.

I also tell my family about this matter. We all agree that it is not an option to eat out. If we can only have vaccines, we do not need to worry about this killer virus.

That´s a scary photo. We don´t have to wear masks when we eat in a restaurant though we have to enter with a masks on until we are on our table. Then the table is far from the other people dining.

That mask is just so over the top! I'm not yet ready to eat outside and besides, I hardly get out of the house if it isn't necessary, how much more to dine out.
