Since the lockdown, I haven't eaten a meal in a restaurant. I cannot imagine myself eating a meal with a face mask. Should we modify our face masks? Perhaps we need to have a special face mask for this matter.
How can you handle eating in a restaurant?

the food houses here can already accept dine-in, but sad, because the customers should be 3 feet apart, and all utensils are plastic.

@ridingbet It is really troublesome. That's why I control myself not to eat if being out to go to the wet market. I used to eat snacks before. Now, I cannot do it because of this.

@Shavkat maybe they can pull down their masks if they put in to their mouths a tablespoon of food, and put back the mask if they chew their food? hahaha

This is wrong way of wearing a facemask. You could get infected and also spread the virus to others. Is eating more important than the health of others. How careless and irresponsible you are.
This is how people are going to react to your post.

Our local place has a nice solution - they just serve meal at the terrace outside. I've been there recently even with a pram, very cool. They also have this water mist thing, very refreshing.

@narniangirl I think it is fine. I am sure it is quite troublesome to wear face masks while eating.

@Shavkat I wouldn't say that, but I also wouldn't say that there were people at every table. Maybe three of tables were occupied so it can be counted as social distancing.

Maybe in the future there will be more sophisticated product breakthroughs for that :)

Most fastfood now accept dine in here. But they are limited. Yesterday, I saw around 2-3 groups dined in at KFC.

That mask is just so over the top!
I'm not yet ready to eat outside and besides, I hardly get out of the house if it isn't necessary, how much more to dine out.
