Ironing early in the morning

I had a pile of clothes to iron, today I woke up a little earlier to do that. In the summer it is a painful job to do, only early in the morning it is bearable.
It is a house chore that I would happily give to someone else to do. My mom used to have a lady to iron her clothes, often that lady ironed my clothes too but now with the virus she no longer works. So this morning I also gave my mom a help with her clothes. I spent almost 2 hours ironing
Now I am going to do something for lunch, it will be a salad and I will do enough for dinner too.
Do you like to iron? How do you do that on summer?

I hardly ever iron if I can help it, but when we started staying home I set up the ironing board in my living/dining/kitchen room and ironed handkerchiefs as I was learning how to make folded masks with them. Now that we can buy reusable masks I no longer need to do it and my ironing board is a useful table to put things on. Right now it has a loaf of bread, a roll of tape, a bottle of air freshener, two magazines and my iPad on it.

My ironing board is an extra place for a cat to sit.

It's been a long time since I had ironed my clothes. What I usually do is to hang my pants in the dresser and no more ironing, waheehee.

@Alexandoy iron is painful, I only iron things that really need it.

I do not like to iron at all, but unfortunately it's got to be done sometimes to keep our clothes looking nice.

@nela13 It probably is nice to do in winter, when the heat of the iron helps warm things up. I agree that it can be painful in the summer.

@moffittjc now I am more careful with the clothes I buy and I try to choose fabrics that don't wrinkle too much.

I hate ironing I gotta admit lol. In fact when I buy my clothes of shirts I make sure they are tagged "wrinkle resistant" those are the best because no need to iron them lol!

We seldom iron our clothes. Most of them are wash and wear.
