I Love Being On Lockdown

Forgive me for being weird but I honestly enjoy being on lockdown. The whole place is very quiet. I don't see crowds of people anymore. It makes me feel better not to hear other people's voices outside.
Maybe I'm just like this even before it happens. I shut every person I know and move to another place so my old friends will no longer see me. I have an excuse not to see them.
Do you think it's weird? I'm not depressed or anything. I just find solitude and peace whenever this lockdown happens.

I guess the weird is in these days. But some people may hate me for enjoying these moments.

Lockdown has its advantages. The worldwide pollution level has improved and people aren't out and about so much.

It has a lot of advantages actually. For an introvert like me, it's a piece of heaven already.

I agree. I hate having to deal with too much noise. But I don't want to live in a secluded area either. So it makes this lockdown perfect to have some quiet times.

NO I don't think it is weird at all, you just like to be left alone. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Thanks for saying that. I agree that people can make us tired and just want to lock up ourselves even without this pandemic.

You are just used to it so it seems. I guess that has been your lifestyle even before the lockdown so no wonder you are enjoying the peacefulness.

Yeah, you're right about that. I even make night to be my day so I can sleep during day time when people are out on the streets. I enjoy silence so much.

I think it's hard if you like hearing a lot of people out from the streets. But I like being left alone in silence eversince that's why I'm enjoying it now.

I used to be alone at times and did not feel lonely at all.
During my working years, I used to work after office hours either going early or even on Sundays.
A few days in a month will help me to concentrate on those which was not possible otherwise.
Though I look forward to BC (Before Covid) days, I don't feel my life is wasted now.
Thanks to technology, we can work from home anyway - siva

This lockdown is not all bad. Reduction in pollution, lower noise, and less smoke and toxic gas from factories and motor vehicles are good for mother nature.
