Humberto is a doctor. And when he came to pick me up last Sunday he noticed that I wasn´t walking well.
He told me that it was too little activity and said I HAD to walk every day, besides the normal walks I do at home. I am to start walking an extra 100 steps every day. Today I walked 200. And to go up every day. I have to finish later by going up and down the stairs, first once a day and then more and more.
This is what I call COVID´s side effects.

That is good that you started walking more. I wound up with a bum knee that if I move too fast it shoots up pain, However, I have a knee brace and I am going to strap that knee up and go out walking real slow on Friday,

We often forget that we have to take care of our muscles.

@marguicha it is much more comfortable sitting at the laptop and letting my fingers get all the exercise, And then I forget and get up too quickly and it is painful. So I will get myself up and out,

I used to go up and down the steps of the apartment building but because of the virus and I do not know who is going to come out of their apartment anytime I do not do it. That is great how many you did. He sounds like a great friend.

That is very nice. I love when people adopt us if we have no family around where we are.

That´s a lot, I can tell you. I told my daughters that I wanted one of those smartwatches, but they said it was absurd. Not that I´d buy it with their money.

@marguicha I know that it is a lot, the last stair to go up to the bedroom in the night seems the more exhausting.

I am missing my regular walking in this pandemic. Ours is a hotspot area for virus and I feel it is not safe and wise to step out. I am trying to be active indoors with exercise and yoga. Good that you have started slowly. You will pick up soon

From what you wrote I though you had contacted Covid but from reading the responses I see that you do not. We all need to exercise. One of my doctors told me years ago when I was first diagnosed with arthritis is that I have to walk and that is the best exercise for anyone of all ages. It's hard to do sometimes though.

You had tested for covid too? I was too but the only side effect l have was getting tired easily. l also sweat a lot these past few days l do not know if this is part of the aide effects of it. Difficulty breathing is slightly improving as mu breath becomes normal already.

You do need to keep moving if you want to be able to move later.
