Now this is a sight you don't get to see every day... a mob of kangaroos crossing a river! 🦘 This special scene was captured during a morning kayak at...

@LindaOHio I'm still hoping to get video footage of a little one practising his hopping. There were some in the garden yesterday but I couldn't get a decent shot.

I don't think they swim very often. Those who don't live in Australia are very intrigued with our kangaroos.

@kobesbuddy True. You'd think they'd need to have a rest after such an effort.

@JudyEv And after they crossed the water, it only took a few seconds for them to hop away:)

That's cool! :-) I also ever watching pigs can swim in the sea and it looked amazing as they have big belly and short legs :-)

They are supposed to be good swimmers. They look too ungainly for it though, don't they?

I've just written about how they swim and in the link, there is an underwater shot of a kangaroo swimming.

I never knew this! Not too shocked though, there is so many odd/changes in the world lately! Like horses can have mustaches now. Never did before! So expect the unexpected in this timeline!
