My mother said my lunch was unhealthy!
When I know my lunch was totally at least half healthy!
I'm really trying but I can't just start eating completely healthy.
I need my mother to know that eating healthy is going to take some time and that I can't just jump into it.
Do you eat healthy?
Are your meals unhealthy?
Do you think losing weight is necessary?
Do you believe my sandwich was unhealthy?
I made sure I filled it with onions carrots and egg which I thought seemed healthy enough!

We all have different nutrients requirement, depending on our health, activities, and food restriction. Your sandwich looks good, and I think it's a healthy one. But as to it being healthier or less healthy depends on what food you are comparing it too.
Losing weight is necessary if it is already drastically affecting your overall health. For instance, if someone has heart issues, then losing weight may be beneficial. Or when someone is diabetic. But losing weight is something that needs to be consulted with a specialist. Sometimes we lost weight, only to be deficient in key nutrients. There is a healthy and unhealthy way of doing it, that is why some guidance is necessary.
Health is wealth. Just because someone is of a certain size or weight does not necessarily mean that that person is healthy or unhealthy. Unfortunately, society has set some unrealistic standards on what an ideal weight is.

You first need to know how many Kgs you need to lose and if it's not much you should enjoy your meals but don't skip exercise

It depends on the type of sandwich but also anything anything homemade is going to be healthier then something you buy already made in the store or from a places.
I don’t think everyone need to diet it should know what diet type is good for them and what foods are good for them. Everyone is different so there food needs will be change.

@Merliva it depends on what your body needs. Most people tend to over eat and not portion themselves and they don’t allowed there body’s to digested before moving on to more food. In general just watch what you everything in moderation. It’s okay to treat yourself to something unhealthy just not every meal not never day.

You are doing the right thing by easing into it. That is what I did. I ate some healthy foods with my unhealthy foods until I eventually got rid of the unhealthy stuff. Once a week I have a "cheat meal" of soft fried potatoes. It's the only unhealthy thing I allow myself.

I enjoyed potato chips but it's been a while I had any.
Do you mind giving me some tips?

I have a mixture of healthy and not so healthy meals. I think maintaining a healthy weight for your height is important for good health. Carrots are definitely healthy. And eggs provide protein. Trying to eat healthy all the time is a difficult task. Try to eat your bad or unhealthy foods in moderation. That way you won't deprive yourself completely.

@Merliva I try my best to avoid the temptation of junk food, but I don't beat myself up about an occasional binge. As long as my bloodwork is ok I won't deprive myself of an occasional treat. But I have added certain foods to my diet to help. Oatmeal is a morning staple and I've replaced red meat with chicken, fish and turkey. And of course fruit and veggies.

Eat whole grain and wholemeal carbohydrates such as brown rice and wholemeal bread, and potatoes with the skins on to increase your intake of fiber, and don't fry starchy foods when trying to lose weight.

I'm more into exercise than diet, but yeah your sandwich doesn't seem completely unhealthy, it's good that you used brown bread instead of regular white bread, Swap it for: Fiber-rich breads that are 100% whole wheat.
