After more than a month I didn't do ironing, finally I did it yesterday. 2 overflow basket laundry!!! I finished them all.
I got inspired by @rina110383 who loves to do house chores except cooking. Unbelievable right? Nobody likes house chores, not even a housewife.
I am happy to see my empty laundry basket. How about you, when did the last time you do ironing?

five maybe ten years ago. I do laundry twice a week. However, my clothes and my husband's clothes don't require ironing. He likes to put the laundry away. Sometimes, it'll take him a week, and I wind up picking clothes out of the clean laundry basket. Today, it only took him a couple of hours. A bit longer, if you consider I did the laundry last night, instead of tonight like I usually do.

It's mostly the material. Cotten tends not to rinkle as easily, as other fabrics do. That and our washer and dryer do their job well. So clothes tend to get clean, but don't really wrinkle. Thinier fabricks, like silks are more prone to wrinkling.@Cheyee

@kaylachan most of my clothes material is cotton and rayon. Whenever it comes out from washing machine it looks like a crumpled paper

@Cheyee Ah. Well, yeah, most of the time, clothes will come out of a washing machine wrinkled. I also have an electric tumble dryer. With a bounce or two, it kind of acts like an iron.

I rarely iron, so I salute you. That was really amazing. Most of my clothes didn't require ironing. Out of all chores, I despise folding the laundry and ironing the most. That's why most of them are being hang in the cupboard. I should build a walk in closet so I'll have more space to hang my clothes.

i'd rather wash and fold clothes than iron them. my outdoor clothes are in hangers because i don't like seeing folds. house clothes are folded, of course.

Every chores that involved clothes, I hate it. But I need to ironing my husband's uniforms and all his clothes.
One time I went to my parent's house, I wore t-shirt and trousers. My dad criticized me for being lazy because my clothes're wrinkled.

I couldn't tell you when I last ironed. It's been ages. I don't buy clothing that needs ironing anymore because I despise ironing. I told my hubby long ago that if he needs something ironed that he needs to get it done. It has never been a problem here.
Glad you got it all caught up!

Probably 6 months ago . I rarely do, actually, most of my clothes don't need ironing and I also don't really care about that. Of course, things change if I need to dress differently, like wearing a suit at work. Still, my wife does it more than me .

My mother-in-law used to live with us and the one thing I remember about her was ... that lady was an ironing fiend! She would iron everything! It's a nice memory actually. She no longer lives with us. She went back home to The Bahamas.

True... I remember my grandma was ironing my grandpa clothes. She needed to manage the heat by adding and reducing the amount of charcoal, because not all the clothes can handle the same heat. And sometimes there was very small fraction of charcoal fallen at the clothes and it made a hole.
But I like the smell of charcoal iron.
