Remembering a Favorite Meal

Many restaurants are closed now due to COVID. I never ate out a lot but every now and then. And some meals are missed.
Breakfast is a favorite meal, any time of the day for me. Cracker Barrel is a favorite place for breakfast.
The photo above was from a few months ago. French toast with powdered sugar, sour cream and blackberries. I cannot tell you how good this was.
I make french toast at home. But it is always nice to go out and eat every now and then. Maybe one day I can return.

I love french toast and like making it at home too. There used to be a little restaurant around that made the best french toast I've ever eaten but sadly they no longer exist.

It seems so surreal now I know what you mean Carol.

That French toast with powdered sugar, sour cream and blackberries breakfast looks YUMMY and so up my street! COVID is here to stay so we can only hope we learn how to live with it and resume life almost as it was before. Governments the world over realise locking down economies is not the answer. BUT we also have to do our part and observe all the protocols to keep the virus from spreading.

We order food from a restaurant and go to pick it up. I have been inside of a restaurant three times since the pandemic began, but I don't like going. That definitely looks like a scrumptious meal you had.

We have eaten out occasionally and very carefully. Hopefully by next year you can eat out in confidence.
