Good morning everyone! Daisy says good morning too from beneath her blanket. I haven't been able to sleep past 3:30 am lately and she's still tired when we get up. After she had her breakfast, she snuggled up in her bed and is snoring
I'm drinking my coffee while watching a show I recorded called Big Sky. It's a new show and so far it's really good with a lot of suspense and drama. I'm on the edge of my seat. I have some picking up to do today as well as dusting and vacuuming. I also have a load of clothes to wash.
I've been having some bad days lately, missing Chuck and feeling like my life is out of control. I have thought long and hard and I have decided im staying where I am for as long as I can. I am buying a dependable used car and after the first of the year, I will be looking for a part-time job.
I will have to check and see what the limit is on how much I can make with my social security. I have to make the life insurance Chuck left, last as long as possible. I feel better now with some kind of plan in place.
I thought very seriously about moving home to Memphis but I just don't like it there plus it would cost a small fortune to move from one state to another. I know this leaves me living completely alone with no friends or family close. Im hoping that when I find a job, I will make friends. Plus, I plan on trying to find a nice church to go to.
I pray that Im making the right decision and everything goes as planned. So, what do you have planned for today?

I’m going to run across the river (technically drive on a bridge across the river ), have lunch, and see my sis-in-law (probably just through the front storm door, because I might have a germ on my clothing and I do NOT want to make her sick since she just had back surgery). Do my back exercises, too, to keep the pain down.

I think staying put is your best option right now. Going to church should help with the friend category too and the high will help so you're not cooped up. You may want to find something that's considered essential so you can continue to work if things shut down.
I wish you well in starting your new endeavors.
You may want to our feelers out for a job now rather than later just because things slow down after the new year and placed may not be hiring. Course that may depend on the type of job you get and where you're living.
Today I need to wash my kitchen and bathroom floor and maybe get some other cleaning done.

I'm glad to hear that you are putting your life in order. Sounds like a good plan. We are just going to make some of the dishes for tomorrow's dinner today. Have a good day and a great Thanksgiving.

It sounds like you have a good plan in place. You'll also make new friends when you find a good church.
Today, my son and grandson will be here to change the living room around and set up my new recliner.
