Life can be so unfair

This Saturday one cousin passed away. She was only 42. She had two lovely boys age 12 and 10. She was married with one of my cousins.
We have a feeling that life isn't fair, she was so young and needed, had so many plans ... she had cancer and since this pandemic of Covid-19 sometimes she didn't have her treatments. It is awful, due to this virus it looks like all the other diseases are being neglected. Many appointments and treatments are postponed and sometimes even cancelled!!
I don't know if this is happening in other countries too but here it is happening and many more people will suffer.

Sorry to hear about your cousin - she was so young. It is a most difficult time. In our area, it seems most people were able to continue on with their appointments and treatments, but some people wanted to avoid going anywhere where they can potentially catch the virus. In our nearby hospital, I believe there are units/wings dedicated to covid patients but it is quite full at the moment . . . I am not sure what is happening now.

what heartbreakin' news , my condolences to all who loved 'n treasured her. 'tis been most awful, folks turned 'way from care 's the hospital systems've been o'errun with covid cases. very disturbin' that she'n others missed their treatments due to such. we've a small cancer clinic here 'n to my knowledge those folks're all still gettin' their treatments. my hematologist would'a no doubt filled my ears full if'n such 'twas otherwise. i hope such's sustainable coz e'en with vaccines startin' to be'n the horizon, 'twill be 't least 'til may 'fore all're given.

@nela13 yer welcome, hon. a hard blow fer the family'n i sure feel fer those young'uns. i dunno how such'll be given where ya reside? here, 'tis said medical personnel 'n first responders 'll be tended 1st (we've lost 194 'f our medical workers here'n new mexico thus far, bless 'em 'n their families/friends), then those with pre-existin' conditions. such'll be phased'n, with 'normal folk' who wish such lookin' to be 'bout march/april? we've still a long, hard road to hoe. stay safe, hon.

It seems there are areas in the USA where appointments are being cancelled, depending on the doctor or hospital. Some think it is a protection to keep those who are seriously ill away from areas where the virus could be spread. Most of us just don't know what the answer is for all that is happening.

maybe they should create areas just for those with Covid, areas away from the hospital. I don't know but this Virus is killing people in many ways.
