Tree ferns near Manjimup, Western Australia

The area we were visiting recently has more rainfall than we do here and the paddocks there are still green. It reminds me of Ireland with its lushness. Much of ‘our’ bush is best described as open woodland but around Manjimup the undergrowth is very thick and difficult to penetrate.
Blackberries grow wild and the tree ferns are huge with large drooping fronds. I thought @crazyhorseladycx would like this photo of the tree ferns.

How secluded and beautiful the woodland is ! The tree ferns are known as living fossil.

Yes some of the areas are in a way blessed to receive more rain so naturally they have more greenery and roots will be more stronger too
