This morning, several high school small ensembles who had been asked to perform for the teachers' meeting/Christmas party were privileged to stand on a stage and sing or play. This is the first time since COVID started that we have been allowed to perform on stage.
Singers had to wear masks and face shields, my flute players have a special mask that covers their mouth, nose and flute mouthpiece, and string players of course were wearing masks. We were only in small groups to be socially distanced on stage, but we got to perform.
The things we take for granted in normal times have become very special.

That's good that they could perform in front of real audience. And glad all covid norms were in place.
You are right normal things become so special during this pandemic.

That's a unique kind of musical presentation among the high school students for they're wearing masks.

It's very commendable that you observe protocol to protect yourselves from covid even while performing on stage. Caring for each other by wearing masks and face shields and staying six feet apart from each other helps a lot in stopping the virus from spreading.
Congratulations on your performance!
