Here we are it's Christmas Eve!
I thought to have "plenty of time" when December started. Today I am running "out of time" with a few things still to do.
I went down to put my little gift under the tree for my husband and I noticed that there is a little bag for me.
I am curious, but I am not going to look inside the bag... I love a Christmas surprise. Tomorrow I know what it is... even if I have an idea.
I will not be around a lot today and tomorrow, but I will surely come to myLot.

@snowy22315 I prepared many little different appetizers, canapes, small sandwiches, cheese spread. I have prepared a video with Christmas musics, we are going to eat and enjoy the music.

I will spend a quiet day at home with my husband and son. It's sad we won't be able to get together with relatives due to Covid.

That is such a pretty little scene you have taken a picture of.
Tomorrow my hubs and I will open the gifts we have for each other.
Our son and daughter-in-law want to facetime with us tomorrow, which we are excited for.
My daughter-in-law told me today that she is super excited for our son to open the gifts that she got for him, that makes me happy as I know that he loves Christmas, and them being their own little family now, they will begin their own special traditions.

Thank you Julia, this is my little Christmas corner, I placed the gifts near our little tree, I am not going to peek inside, but I imagine what he bought for me.
Enjoy your Christmas, it will be wonderful to have a facetime with your son and your daughter in law, do you know what the gift for your son is? I am also excited waiting that my husband opens his gift.

I wonder if our daughter-in-law bought our son a new set of golf clubs.
He has my hubby's hand-me-down clubs and bag, they do the trick, but he really spent alot of time out on the course last year and couple probably stand a new set.

I love your little angels! Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow. We will be here, just the four of us, enjoying the day in the traditional way with no pressure to please anyone else. Hopefully the weather will be fine so we can go out for a walk as well, I can't stay inside all day!

@LadyDuck Merci ! Usually I "celebrate" New Year's Eve with friends, not Christmas, although I go to the Christmas mass. This year, due to the curfew we have decided to not have a dinner for New Year's Eve and I did not went to the midnight mass. But an old friend called me, and it was a good surprise.

@topffer I am glad you received a phone call. We also received a nice call from a friend, we did not expect. The Midnight Mass has been canceled and today the weather is horrible, we are not moving from home. I am glad there is the TV for the Mass.

We always have a quiet Christmas. In my country it's not really a custom to give presents at Christmas, though more and more people are doing it. I'm a partial caretaker for an old lady (she's 89) and I will go get her tomorrow and we'll have a hot lunch at our place and she can stay the afternoon. We normally don't eat dinner at lunch time, but she does so we adapt to her way. .
