For several days, we have been encountering this intermittent internet connection issue. I have been trying to call the service provider but to no avail. This morning, I planned to go to their office but decided to call them first. At last, I was able to get through and talked to an agent. I reported our issue and she promised that they will act on the matter.
I waited...but hours have passed and my internet is not doing any better. I need to think of a way otherwise, the day would pass and I could not earn anything because of poor signal.
I tried to activate the phone's hotspot but the signal inside the house is also weak. I decided to place the phone inside the car which I parked outside. This is effective. I can now open myLot and my other sites as well.
Do you also experience having a weak internet signal in your place? What remedy do you have in order to continue with your online activities?

@Shavkat I will visit Smart tomorrow to see if they already have an open line in my place. The last time, they told me they don't have slot for new connections. My daughter needs it for her online teaching plan.

@ARIES1973 I am using the PLDT Fiber Optic. It is advisable to avail the PLDT service for teaching online.

We are only renting the place and I was glad that there is an internet connection. I pay for the monthly fee. But if the issue continues, I would probably stop paying and find another service provider or find a new place where there is a strong signal for Smart so I can just use prepaid internet.

Thank you Rebecca. I really hope so. Perhaps I need to visit their office tomorrow because today is Sunday and their office might be closed.

ISP giants should now be improving their services. The new player is about to take their spots.

I am waiting for the new player. But I also heard some negative feedback from our place. My connection is with a local company.

@ARIES1973 No one seems to be outperforming one. Hoping for speed boost for all providers and I am waiting for the major players to expand connections in my place.

That's the common issue online workers like us are facing which until now, I haven't found a permanent solution as of yet. Using a hotspot is only temporary. When the battery is drained, I won't be able to access the net until it is fully charge again.

Yes, that's one of the issues we are facing here. Still looking for an alternative ISP. Yes, it's really frustrating because I am using this for my mobile loading business and I need to go outside to get a good signal.

@ARIES1973 You definitely need something more dependable, especially for you business. I would dislike having to go outside every time I needed a signal.

If you have Call center for the ISP service then surely your provider is established provider. You can see for an alternate provider and tell them you will be moving to alternate provider if they don't fix it.
Here we have a Local ISP, so we got cons and pros, as they have only 2 mobile numbers on which we can call, and they have over 1000 customers. When internet goes down, it's hard to get hold of them. But I usually call my friend and check with him if net is working for him. So I come to know if my problem is my problem or whole ISP's problem
I hope it get resolved soon. For us if internet is down, then it will be down for a day or more! ![](/Content/images/emotes/surrender.gif)

I think most of them have their own pros and cons and I will lost money if I will be trying each and every one of them to know which is the best provider. If we can only discover a way to develop our own internet.

Maybe because of the tons of complaints they are receiving every day, they could no longer handle it immediately. I'm glad my signal is now okay.

Prepaid internet is good for back up but it can't sustain my business. I would incur a lot of expenses.

Yes, I am using mobile data as backup and open my phone's hotspot. I need to put the phone outside so it can attract more signal. Otherwise, it would not be useful because the signal inside the house is not strong.
