To make it clear, I am not crazy about having an imaginary friend. It happens whenever I am alone, I talk as if there is someone in front of me. I assumed that some of you talk to yourself, too. It is a way how to entertain myself to kill boredom. By the way, my imaginary friend's name is Jamshed.
Do you talk to yourself sometimes?
Do you have an imaginary friend?

Ha ha this is so funny my friend. I understand 5 year old having imaginary friends. I wonder what I would name mine once I have one.

I think that when people talk to themselves it is because they are thinking out loud.

On my part, I don't consider talking alone is having conversation to an imaginary friend. I do talk alone and that is talking to myself, when I've done something which is not good or bad, I will say you are silly, you did it again, there you are again. And when good I will say, you're smart. I grab all the credit instead of giving it to my visiting imaginary friend

@macayada Why not? We can be good buddies and I can learn so many things about life from you. Here is my Jamshed.
For those who had read my last discussion, let me introduce my Jamshed. He was my imaginary friend when I had my medical mission In Tajikistan in 2010. I got...

Talking to myself started when I had my medical mission in Central Asia. I called him Jamshed because I am living alone at that time. Eventually, Jamshed turned into reality by using a dummy. Do you want to see him? I am not making you scared of him though.

I think talking to ourselves may be good. Sometimes I do talk to myself especially if I want to tell her that she can do it. I always remind myself that she is good and she should never give up on her dreams.

Sometimes I argue with myself... If/When someone catches me, I explain that it's difficult to find someone to play devil's advocate with enough intelligence to make me stop and think.

@DaddyEvil I am sure we have a devil from within. It will only trigger if someone did bad to us. I will unleash my evil side if it happens.

@Shavkat I might be a D.Evil, but I hope there aren't any demons within. I'd feel crowded in my own skull if that turned out to be true.

Yes, I talk to myself at times, especially when there's no one to talk to.
