We are living in a nightmare. It’s so ugly outside and so dull. No people walking, no bright sunshine, no cars traveling. Piles of snow all over the place taller than humans! We, who love to take morning walks, can’t even do that. There are huge patches of snow and ice on the road. No sidewalks in our little town. So, we have to make our own fun. Hubs and I are going to make a salad and pop a Lou Malnati’s sausage deep dish Chicago pizza into the oven. We have a selection of movies from which to choose and Big Sky to watch. No martini until Friday, but a glass of wine will be welcome. I am not a fan of living in Dullsville.

@DianneN In Germany, the sidewalks must be free of snow by 6 am! If someone falls and hurts themselves later because of the snow lying there, you may be sued.

@DianneN I know what you mean during the time where there was no electrical power for four weeks during Hurricanes Laura and Delta, my relatives had to stay outside of the home due to the heat.

To me it's still beautiful but I know it's different having to live with it. My goodness it's like powdered sugar everywhere. I know you and your husband will make the most of a cozy time indoors . . . stay warm!!!

@much2say We are so lucky, thanks to our son. Fuel oil is so expensive. It does look like a black and white photo. It never entered my mind! That means I am getting used to winters in Connecticut again. Don’t want that.

I'm not a fan of living in snowsville either. But when it snows heavy is not a day I have to work. But eventually I need to force my way out whether I like it or not.

Some of our doors can’t open due to the weight of the snow. I forced myself too many times to drive to school and had to drive home in blizzards.

@DianneN In fact, we were sitting on a bench in a nearby park today. I had a jacket on over a shirt and felt like removing the jacket for some time. If the trend continues, summers are not far!

I do workouts and use our home gym. The stairs are just extra exercise from running up and down them all day. My tush is very firm.

Wow! Those pictures are truly beautiful. I don't see anything dull about them. However, I know how disappointed you are with no bright sunshine, snow everywhere, and can't go for your daily walk. I hope you enjoyed the pizza and movie selection on your dull day.

It is disgusting, plain and simple.

Thank goodness I have plenty of food and necessities in the house. Deliveries were canceled due to the snowstorm. Today it’s sunny!
