I am not a big fan of oatmeal. But it has always been said that it is healthy and all. The other day I watched some videos in youtube making oatmeal breakfast so I want to try it. The oatmeal is mixed with low fat milk, yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup and some fruits. I do not have a yogurt but I still try it the same. You have to prepare it the day before the breakfast and just store in the refrigerator. I can say it is not that bad but I think I will lessen the maple syrup since it taste a bit sweeter than my liking. It is not a favorite but maybe I think I can get use to it . Do you like oatmeal? How do you prepare your oatmeal? Photo from google.

It is healthy. I like it with brown sugar, or raisins, or cinnamon and apples.

I am also not a big fan, but I prepare time by time because it's healthy. I boil the oat in hot milk, then I add raisins, pieces of apple, a bit of sugar, cinnamon, chopped almonds and hazelnuts. We eat the oatmeal hot.

I do like oatmeal although I'm not eating any currently. We can but instant here already mixed with things like cinnamon or maple sugar. I boil water and add the dry mix and stir. Mmmm.

@rakski no. I’ll make the oatmeal either with milk or wanted. Mostly I do it with water with the kids because that’s how they like it but I’d it’s for myself I’ll make it with milk instead sand add what I like after heating it for a minute. After that I don’t add any more liquids to it.

@rakski It's better than regular sugar which is the way I had it growing up. My husband liked it with brown sugar. So much better.

This is a good healthy breakfast. Oatmeal is one of my favorites. But it doesn't always keep me full. I'm hungry soon after I eat it

I am certainly not a fan of oatmeal, at all. I know they're healthy but I just can't. I never try adding them to yogurt? Will it be like eating granola?

I did not add yogurt because I do not have one available. But I add milk, chia seeds and some maple syrup. I put it in the ref and then before I add bananas before I eat it. I like it much better than without the banana

I do like oatmeal . . . the one you have to cook, not the instant ones (too sweet and mushy). I could eat it plain with just a touch of milk (or almond milk in my case).
