I was there for a short while but never got paid.
I think it was only so busy because they were paying an unsustainable amount of money.

It’s a shame they didn’t lower the payment rates so the site could have continued longer, who knows - maybe that had worked or maybe not. I do recognise some people over here from over there which is nice @mike197602 @much2say

A bubble it was indeed, and a very flimsy one at that. It was clear from the start that it could never possibly be sustainable with the rates that they claimed to be paying. Then it became evident that their 'moderator' hadn't a clue about how to distinguish between people defrauding the system (which wasn't hard to do, anyway) and genuine users.
It's a shame that such a well designed website was run by two such unsuitable people - one was a dreamer who will probably never make a penny in his life and the other was a fast-talking entrepreneur with very little business sense.
myLot may seem a little antiquated in design in comparison but it always pays (always has done for 14 years) and, I'm certain, will always be honest and upfront if it ever has to close.

@LadyDuck They paid for all views - not only those from members within Bubblews. There was one post I did which went viral somewhere (I still don't know where), got over 2000 views and earned me, I think, about $25 (at 1 cent per view, like or comment). My payments stopped after that and the answer I eventually received was that I had been 'cheating'!

The Bubblews model had an inherent fault.
Plus the lack of honesty.
So it was bound to fail.

@YesWay
Were you very active there? I was quite active from June 2013 when I started till July 2014. Then my interest waned and gradually the earnings were increasing very very slowly there.

@Mike197602 well, a good site at first until they became greedy and executed all their plans

I think a good site is one that pays what it says it will pay...bubblews wasn't good

It would have been busy years before the bubble burst but toward the end when more and more people weren't getting their money earned and after the earnings shifted I don't think more people would be there still.
I think I know more about the lives of people here than I ever did then.

I think that I was one of the early ones to the site. I think all of their problems started when they picked up and moved to San Francisco because that's where they thought they needed to be. I can just imagine what that move cost them... and then put them out of business. :(
