Is there a season when pie is not needed?

No matter what the season, there always seems to be something growing that would be great in a pie.
When baking pies here, we have are cautious about the ingredients because some can't have gluten, some don't do dairy and the list goes on.
One of our favorite pies here is a vegetable pie. These are the main part of a meal. That might sound odd to some, but if you are a vegetable lover, you might enjoy one.
Of course, a sweet pie is usually appreciated as well.
The pie pictured here is filled with berries.

If someone enjoys spaghetti they would probably appreciate a pie filled with it! I wonder if we would use dipping sauce or mix the spaghetti with the sauce?
I'm not really going to try it but would enjoy hearing if anyone does.

We do various vegetables. My favorite is yellow and red peppers, stir fry with olive oil, garlic, onion and tomatoes until tender, then bake in a pie. So good.

This week we are making some with yellow and red peppers and onions, garlic and tomatoes. Not everyone loves such things, but we do.

We indulge regularly, but many of ours are the main part of the meal, such as veggie pies. We often make individual ones too.

Yes, I do love pie. I used to make all kinds from scratch when the kids were little. We picked fruit for farmers and had lots of free ingredients.

Spinach pie is one of my favorites, loaded with garlic and onion and Italian spices. Not for everyone, but makes me happy.

Apple is very popular here. We have to be sure to make at least 2-3 at a time bc they go so fast.

Just saute some of your favorite veggies with seasoning and bake in a pie. Quick, simple, cheap and so good.

I love eating pies both sweet and savoury. They are very filling and nutritious. What vegetables do you use in your vegetable pies.?

I enjoy all veggies, but to satisfy everyone, usually yellow and red peppers with garlic and red onions and spinach lightly fried in olive oil until tender, then the veggies are put in a put crust. Some people add cheese, some add a top crust.
So many options!

Pie is my favorite dessert, especially cream pies. Butterscotch is the best!
