Videos of Food Eating Competitions

I get paid from this one website to watch short videos clips and it has a video on there of this guy who is eating all kinds of food in a food competition. I just watched him eat 6 huge triple stacked hamburgers with two extra pieces of bun along with a whole plate of fries in about 14 minutes and 4 seconds. He then drank a whole glass of soft drink on top of that. He trains his stomach to hold all of that food. If he had not finished his meal, he would have had to pay for it but if he eats all of it, it is free and he wins money for doing so. He is not a big guy either. I would weigh ten tons if I ate all of that food. My body just would not burn it all up before it turned into fat, I think. It is not healthy on any inner parts of your body doing that either but they manage to do it over and over again. Makes my belly hurt watching him do it lol. Thin people can eat that much at once too. It amazes me. Can you imagine going to the bathroom after eating all of that food at one time?

Guys like that don't live longer in my opinion. Health is wealth unfortunately.

Very true. I think he may have complications from it sooner than later.

I think it is normal to defecate after eating too much.

Yes but that would be very hard on the stomach and intestines with that much food to try to digest and release and once also.

@Shavkat Yes. I cannot imagine feeling so bloated until then though. That would be so miserable.

@stephcjh I do agree with you. It will take time to digest food.

I've seen lots of competitions like that, I think for some it's a controlled bulimia, some stretch their bellies so much that it never shrinks back to normal size. Being too full is such an uncomfortable feeling to. Competition eating probably has a ton of unhealthy consequences.

Right! I read that it can affect your internal organs badly. That overly full filling in my stomach makes me feel miserable too if I happen to eat too much

I don't think that's healthy at all either. I wonder how they train their stomachs? I bet the person does a lot of gym work outs before and after too.

I read that they keep forcing themselves to drink a lot of water to make their stomach train to expand a lot plus they up their food intake daily to make their stomachs hold more over a period of time. I bet they work out also like you mentioned.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have heard quite a bit about the keto recently. I have never tried it though but would love to as I heard it helps you lose some weight too.

@stephcjh I think that would just make me sick. Now that I do keto I find that I get fuller a lot easier. If I have a high carb day then my stomach hurts afterwards too.

@stephcjh I am with you. I would be very fat again if I hate all that food and I would feel horrible afterwards. Yes, I can imagine going to the bathroom and spending lots of time in there after eating all of that food.

Yes and my belly would be hurting so badly more than likely and my intestines.

I don't like watching this kind of video. It's obvious that it's not only not good for the body, but also a waste of food and disrespect for those who lack food!

There are many reasons why some people do not gain weight even if they eat a lot of food and usually none of those reasons are a sigh of good health.

Right and if they have a high metabolism and stay busy to work it off without letting it turn into fat.

There's no way I could eat all of that. It's amazing that they don't become sick while trying to consume all of that at once.

Right. Some of them do get sick and go right back at it but I think when they get sick, it may disqualify them. They have to be able to hold all of the food down.

You ought to check into trying it out sometime or practice first at home and see how you do.

Years ago, I recall there was a TV show about eating contests. Someone said it was funny so I watched one episode. It made me literally sick, stuffing of food falling out of mouths, gagging, it was idiocy for sure. I never watched it again. Not funny, just ridiculous.

I know what you mean. In this particular video, the guy ate the food like we normally do but he wasn't at all messy but just eating it very quickly and hardly chewing it before swallowing.

That is true too because they hardly chew it and take huge bites at a time and just swallow it.

I don't think I'll be able to eat that much. I usually don't eat a lot on normal basis too. Their stomach must be the size of a whale.

Those food competitions are crazy. I've seen the one at Coney Island on tv where they eat so many hot dogs it makes me sick just watching.

I have seen those too. Even though hot dogs are small, it looks fairly easy to do until you stuff a bunch in lol.

How to train one’s stomach to hold all that food?

From what I have read, they just start eating more and more every meal and drink a lot of water to make their stomach get used to expanding,
