Funny: A Quote that Makes Me Think Hard...LOL

My daily routine is to surf the net. It makes my fingers dribbling on the keyboard and clicking my mouse. Today is an ordinary day and nothing special to ponder on. Then, I saw this quote: 'I'm officially at the age where I hate loud and unnecessary noise.' I am thinking hard and refused to accept this.

I just find it funny.

It is not a secret that I am whining about my loud neighbors lately. Their loud noises and the barking of their dogs are not acceptable. Does it mean that I am getting old? Would you accept this quote at your age now? Image Credit: res.cloudinary.com

I admit I reached that age years ago. I hate unnecessary noise, either in my house or outside it. Pretty and I don't listen to music or loud videos.

I always hated loud noises, as well as my father did and my husband does... I know old people who love loud music, it is personal, not a matter of age.

@Shavkat Noise can be annoying at night especially if it wakes you up. It can also be scary if you do not know where the noise is coming from.

I would say, yes. The windows in my house don't make everything sound proof, not by a long shot. However, I've trained myself to tune out most noise. Otherwise, I'd never get any sleep.

I cannot afford to put some egg-like trays on the walls or windows. It is not our house and we are living here temporarily. But I started to learn to use earplugs while listening to music or watching short videos through my mobile phone.

I agree. it should not be based on ages. Even toddlers will be agitated when being disturbed by a loud noise, especially when they are sleeping.

Lol even when I was in my thirties I already did. Last month I really called the police and reported my neighbor. It was already 11 pm yet they were still laughing and partying.

I am like you now. While teaching online, I can able to divert myself not to hear their loud noises. Before sleeping, I need to use my earplugs while listening to music. I have been adjusting because I do not want to create a big argument with these people. The question is how long will I endure the situation.

I don't like dogs either. I am grateful that my neighborhood does not have dogs, so I can walk safely. But sometimes it is also annoyed by the sound of cats fighting in the middle of the night and it's quite frequent.

Speaking of cats, we have lots of them here. I hate it when they are in heat. They create loud noises at night.
