Tender coconut water

We have our own coconut trees but coconut climbers are nowhere to be found. They come once every three months and that too after reminding them on a daily basis.
Sad that we do not get to drink tender coconut although it is available in shops. Having our own coconuts makes me feel guilty to buy them.
Tender coconut water is a refreshing drink specially in summer' The coconut meat tastes great too.

@allknowing Yes, that is true by the time they fall it would be dry enough. Now in Kerala machines are using for plucking coconuts.
I was away due to many reasons.

Most coconuts when they fall down there is no water inside and using those for curries is not done It is a mess really They are ok for extracting oil. And by the way I am seeing you after a long time here.

@allknowing If the tree is not very high, then you can try a bamboo(pipe) and knnife like thing...

@allknowing I think I can't do it. I just let the other people have this skill.

Here in my country I see street vendors selling fresh young coconut meat and water whole year round. This is the advantage of living in a tropical country.

Same is the situation here but since we have our own coconut trees buying them makes me uncomfortable and in the process I never get to drink it at all (Iol)

@allknowing So true! You can't shake a coconut tree to get some young coconuts You need to hire someone to get some for you especially if it's already a very tall one.

I do love it especially when it is freshly taken from the tree.

This is a shame that you had to buy them when you have them in your trees.
