Seems like a slow day today.

After some back and forth, the lady at the medical equitment place still hasn't returned or called back, so I probably won't be getting a new chair anytime soon. I've got a couple that work fine for my needs, anyway.
WHent grocery shopping today and spent a good chunck of change, but now my phone's being an evil snail (yay) getting warm, too when I try to use it. And, of course, the connection comes and goes. Fun times....
Probably should've titled this random rambelings. But it is what it is.

@DianneN It's completely crazy, I agree totally with this sentement. But, it is what it is and I do what I have to do. Some models have Android Auto, which I wish it did. I was able to connect my phone (via bluetooth) with difficulity to the van. And, guess what. It works on everything but the maps. Thing even is able to pull up my phones contact list. Can't get the map though. have no idea about messages. It's crazy.

@kaylachan You must have Siri on your iPhone. I use her more than the navigation system. She’s very accurate. Perhaps the van dealership can help you.

@kaylachan It’s crazy having to buy a phone for your car, but Apple seems to be the new thing in cars. Enjoy them all! It’s only money

@Shavkat I enjoy my work, and time often flies especially if there's enough of it to do.

It is kind of frustrating to experience delays. Hope will be better.

I've decided not to work with them. The woman I spoke with didn't appear to know what she was doing, and they weren't allowing people in their building due to COVID. Fine. My husband and I only work with people who will work with us. Not treat us like we're diseased animals.

It's not. My phone is only a year old, and it does fine for the most part. With everything trying to switch to 5g, some connection issues are to be expected. That and samsung has been pushing softwear updates like crazy. I always install them knowing some glitches could happen. Because they can fix problems I may not have known of.

@kaylachan Hubby got a new phone and I took ovef his old one. Mine has been glitchy since dumping out of the kayak with me. It was brand new so not paid for yet.
Hubby could not text me but he could phone me. I could text him. Other people could text me.
They got it working, but they were a bit baffled and were guessing at what to try.
Then several issues just getting used to new phones. Not fun for us

Sorry, you have not had that call. I have to watch my laptop when it is plugged in and charging the charger gets very hot and to be sure nothing overheats all day while I use the laptop I charge it up and unplug it and so on. I now works fine and nothing overheats so I can be sure my laptop keeps working, I hope you have a good evening and a nice Sunday,

It's not Sunday yet, but I get what you mean. I don't have to worry about over heating, at least with this computer.

Yep. Could be worse I suppose. got both resolved. Decided not to do business with the medical company, ordering parts off Amazon and fixing the existing chair instead. Bought my FE shortly after posting this rant. So.... yay.

@nela13 Working on repairing a couple of old ones. I'll eventually need to replace it, but I can hold off as long as possible.

@kaylachan sorry, I don't understand... Did you get a new chair or did you repair the old one?

Yeah, well.... some companies would rather lose possible clients, then interact with them because of COVID.

It is good you have a couple of chairs that meet your needs but how frustrating to not be called back from the medical equipment place. I just got a new battery for my phone, it doesn't heat up as bad as it was doing. Hope you have a good evening.

My battery is fine, and the phone doesn't over heat. (except when it's hot outside, but all phones do) My connection seems to cut out and then come back. Might be because of the phone trying to hold onto 5 g or something like that. I'm trying not to worry about it to much because it works when I need it to.
They did call back, then went on about a co-pay. Then when I tried to tell them I had secondary insurance for stuff like that, the woman clearly didn't know what she was doing. Then preceeded to tell me no one was allowed in the building because of COVID and that they only had one type of chair made by drive.

Slow would've been fine. But mine kept literally disconnecting from everything at random.
