Cancer Diagnosis & Getting Back to Writing

Hi, everyone. Hope that you're all well. A month ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I might have lung as well. We're still in the investigative stage. I had bone (1999) & uterine (2018). I got through before & intend to this time. My focus is on hope & humor. That's what my page on Facebook is about. For anyone who might be interested, the link is on my page. It's not just my journey, it's for anyone who needs a boost. I thought this would be a good time to focus on writing. Since I'm not going to be able to work outside the home for awhile. I had been support staff for developmentally challenged adults. I prefer to have my own schedule anyway. I just started a gig on Fiverr for blogs, articles & social media. Like a lot of you on here, I tend be an observational/conversational writer. It’s difficult to find sites that request & would pay for that. Even my articles have personal touches in them. I’ve tried my hand at a blog, from time to time. Creating content is the easy part for me. Promoting & monetizing, not so much. My volunteering satisfies one part of me & writing another. I also have become an amateur nature photographer. It's just on my phone, but they come out well. Helping others & being creative nourish my soul & will be especially beneficial now.
