1 month ago me and my family was detected covid positive. We suffer a lot, not able to issolate ourself because my daughter is very small just 3.5 yrs old, we manage anyhow and after 15 days we again go for RTPCR test and finally we were negative. At that time I was very relax and thought that bad days of covid was gone, but immediately after that I was suffering from Insomnia, from last 15 days I was not able to sleep, contacted neurologist, he prescribed few medicine but that medicine also not worked on me. What should I do now?

@rituka That sounds terrible.... Are you on medication...??? Though too much of that would harm, but have you tried?

They say many symptoms linger also. Your body just may be used to not sleeping as much as normal since you had covid. I would try to stay calm and relax and give your body time to adjust back to normal.

These are the side affects of Covid and it will go with the passage of time. Moreover, medicines also affect your routine and sleeping pattern. If you are not getting sleep during night, stop worrying about it, do something creative or something which you like e.g. read any book/ novel of your choice or listen to some soft music/ watch a web series/ write a poem or your day to day activity in a diary. Also, do not go to bed till you feel sleepy. I hope it helps. All the best.

There are many Post Covid issues that people suffer from. Good diet and walk or exercise does helps but some form of medication could always be needed. Plus you perhaps need some time as you have been through a lot of stress!
