Echinacea or euthanasia?

Echinacea is a herb promoted as an adjunct in fighting the common cold and other infections.
Euthanasia is the practice of intentionally ending life to relieve pain and suffering.
My husband once worked with a woman for whom English was her second language. She was very concerned for Vince when he had a bad cold. A group had been talking about Echinacea and its benefits in helping combat a cold.
A day or two later, he wasn’t much better and this lady said that he should try euthanasia. Poor Vince is in bed with a cold at the moment but he probably won’t be having Echinacea or certainly not euthanasia. And it’s Fathers’ Day here too. Poor Vince.
And I didn't have a photo of echinacea so I'm giving you one of happy sunflowers.

I'm hoping he... gently... explained to the lady why euthanasia wasn't quite appropriate for "fixing" a common cold.
Did he think you put the lady up to that suggestion? I would have to wonder...

Poor Vince. I hope he feels better soon. I have felt pretty bad at times but never wanted euthanasia

@JudyEv I'm sure all that laughing was good for his soul, and probably will help him get better faster.

@JudyEv,but words are mightier than sword. When my father was sick with stomach severe pain, we brough him to the hospital. The doctor pressed hard the stomach of my dad that he shouted and cried in pain. My brother, a military man boxed the doctor. It was an impulse and we transferred to a better hospital. The doctor my bro boxed landed on the floor and sued the doctor. The doctor sent a letter of apology.

Sometimes language can be a barrier or hindrance for us to understand each other in any aspect. Send my warm regards and greetings of Happy Father's Day to Vince!
