Coffee Or No Coffee? That's the Question!

I have been awake all night long. I went to bed. I read for about 45 minutes before turning the light off and then tossing for another hour. I got up and cleared out my notifications and did a bit of reading here on myLot.
Now I'm trying to decide if I want a cup of coffee before I hit the bed or just go get in bed. I can't decide but I think I'm just going to go right on to bed.
Enjoy your coffee! I'll have some later when I wake up! Does coffee usually keep you awake?

Coffe usually doesn’t keep my wake I do drink a cup to two cups a day in the morning. Well one cup in the morning and one in the afternoon when the kids come home from school.

@kareng I don’t know what a 50/50 blend is. I’m a caffeine person.

Unless you have decaf do without the coffee. Even if it dont always keep you awake it can contribute.

@wolfgirl569 It was good and one reason I got up and out of bed. My stomach was growling. Then I turned computer on and ignored it.

Coffee never bothers me because I don’t drink it.
However, I do make a point to drink decaffeinated or herbal tea at night.

Coffee doesn't affect me except to make my blood pressure rise... I don't like it anymore, anyway.

It hasn't bothered me either in the past. I'm now on decaf or 50/50 blend due to re-occurring UTI's. I did get some sleep but ended up making some homemade mac and cheese instead of the coffee. I think I was just hungry. I slept for 5 solid hours and felt refreshed when I woke up.

I drink one cup of decaffeinated coffee in the evening. I don't know if caffeinated would keep me awake.

@DocAndersen You don't want to just sleep 3-4 hours every night? Just think of all the things you could get done that you never have time for!!

I no longer drink coffee just tea. However many years ago back when I lived in Latvia my husband and I discovered that if we had coffee at night we could get to sleep better, Go figure,

I can drink coffee and still go to sleep. I drink coffee a LOT. Always have a cup after dinner every evening, too. I think I have been drinking coffee for so many years that my body just accepts it and I go to sleep. Maybe I am just weird.
