This Photo Is Haunting Me

Unfortunately there will always be mean people who wage war. It's a sad, sad situation. We are so blessed to live where we do.

The world is full of evil and hate.

The situation at Belarus border is horrible. People should not be left alone, they need help, but no one is going to help them. Why are some people so unlucky to come to the world in those horrible countries?

I can see why that picture haunts you.

I wish I could answer that question. It’s so sad that little innocent children have to suffer.

I have some moments where I cannot get over something like this.

Seeing this picture is heart-breaking, reading this story is sad, knowing someone who came from this country and is a thriving Canadian now is a blessing. We have a family member who left Poland, ended up in a refugee camp for a year and then their family had to lie to the government (something that still bothers them to this very day) to get on a plane and come to Canada. When we see groups of immigrants speaking in their native language and practicing many things that they did before coming to our country, we have to look deeper and realize that they were forced out of their country due to communism. These people are very resilient and we have to have hope that more will be welcomed into Canada for a better life.

My heart bleeds when see any child crying. That baby might be so hungry afraid or disorganised.

It is awful seeing those children's situation, poor little ones

What is going on there? Is there a big problem? Really?

Those cruel people have in their hearts only demons, and greed. No pity, no care for helpless little children, who cry from hunger.

It is distressing. I can see why this is upsetting Marlina.

I don’t see this as mean I see it as national security. Poland doesn’t have open borders and it is not a rich country. The migrants chose to come , bad choice obviously. There are a lot of bad counties in the world that is for sure but Belarus is at fault in this case. If they cross the border then what? Do any of them speak polish? It’s a humanitarian crisis.

As long as people exist there will be wars and rumors of wars with innocent caught in the middle of it

Situations like these make us realise how lucky we are in right now.

We have selfish parent putting their small kids crossing the English Channel in rubber boats when they could live in France just as safely

I have a really hard time seeing pictures like this. That's why I don't watch too much news on tv. The sadness and frustration bother me so much it affects my day or a good night's sleep.
