Fact: Vaccines are Not 100% Effective against Covid-19

Today, my cousin's wife is claiming to be fully vaccinated and all. She might be embracing the idea of being complacent. It means she is striking an argument that vaccines against Covid 19 will not make her infected. I do want to keep in silence but need to say something since some relatives are there listening to the matter. So I gave a piece of statement that it is not a hundred percent effective. Despite being fully vaccinated or receiving the booster, we can still be infected but not that serious for those who did not have them. However, she still insists on her point.
The ending is I just kept silent and let her have the benefit of the doubt. She seems so determined to act like a mutant that can fight the killer virus a hundred percent. The mere fact, Covid 19 is still mutating.
Does it make sense?
How do you handle this kind of people?

Well you can't fix stupid. I just laugh at these people who think that the vaccine is the end all be all and that it is useful in anyway. You are hearing more and more of these people who are getting sick, yet they still believe it is helpful.

I keep my mask on around people, so even if they are being stupid, hopefully it won't affect me. You can't change anyone's mind, so there's no reason to get into an argument with them over it.
Do your best to take care of yourself and anyone else you care about and move on.

@DaddyEvil I get bored easily if the level of thinking is under my brain waves.

@Shavkat I don't blame you at all. Some people just aren't worth wasting time over.

@zhangxueying I am not sure if you are aware that this virus came from Wuhan, China. Is it?

@Shavkat People with some common sense know that this virus is a new virus. The vaccine produced in such a short time can not prevent this virus 100%, and the virus has been mutating. The virus is so cunning. We still need more brains to look at problems.

Don't be over confident and complacent. We should still be very careful

If you are not vaccinated please stay away from me---NOTHING is 100% but it has been proven IF you do get the virus and have been infected the symptoms will be a lot less dangerous!

There is no absolute thing, It's just that the chances of infection are getting smaller, If a person doesn't listen to you, it's no use saying it again, Because he is not a child, has his own opinions, whether right or wrong, he will do things according to his own judgment

Don't worry. I do not mind if she accepts my opinionated statements or not. After this encounter with her, I am not going to say anything about it. Let her know what would happen in the future. I am not a person that will force someone to agree with me. I just had my case with her and that was it.

I think you did well by telling her about the fact about the vaccine. I don't know why she can't understand.

SOme people are just hard headed. You have stated your opinion and that's okay. What's worst is someone thinking that GOD will save them fully with out vaccines or doesn't beleive in vaccines. Its her fault if she chose to be careless.

I don't think the vaccine can resist virus by 100 percent, vaccine just can enhance our immunity and self-protection,I hear of a infected case which was vaccinated. We can insist on ourselves mind, but not necessary to argue with someone stubborn.

I just now realized that in addition to the anti-vax extremists, there are also hyper-vax-believers on the opposite side. And both of them are impediments to the survival of humanity. Lol.
