What more can you expect from Crypto currency?

I'm still unable to understand this crypto currency and find it really hard and there are so many fluctuations that it's really hard to predict and we may face heavy losses like what happened a few days ago. Are you able to understand crypto currency well? Have you managed to safeguard your crypto from recent fall in the market?

I have heard the term often but don't really understand it, and I don't want it , so I didn't research well. It's like online money and it can be lost forever if you don't know how to manage it. I want cash that I could withdraw anytime I want to.

in the US in 2008, people kept pushing investors to get into the sub-prime real estate market. People stopped and the market collapsed. that, is coming from crypto people stop investing it will plunge.

Are you referring to bitcoin or any popular altcoin? To date there are approximately 10,000 cryptocurrencies , different projects, different problems they try to solve and the use case is very diverse that ranges from currency, smart contracts, NFTs or non- fungible tokens, gaming, gambling etc..etc...but one common factor almost all share is they run on a new technology called blockchain technology. I had been into crypto for a long time and I had seen much worse dips than just what happened, infact dips are an opportunity to buy.( not financial advice but it's what I do) It dipped to 46k and it is now back around 51k, I bought 12,000 pesos or around 240 dollars bitcoin when it dipped. In order to protect my crypto I just put them in wallets and some in legit, regulated and legal yield earning sites to earn interest and I just forget about them, I don't really pay much attention to price fluctuations since I hodl ( accumulate) rather than time the market (buy when low/sell when high)

@Butterfingers not financial advice but do research on the sites Celsius network, Nexo, block-fi. Personally I prefer Celsius but you can pick depending on your region. Even the biggest exchange Binance have several earn yield program, I left some satoshis and doge there in there flexible earn program, you could also opt for their locked program ( weeks, months or years to earn a higher APY) Again do your research and do it at your own risk.

That's good but don't forget these all together but I wasn't aware of any websites where you can earn interest from them

I understand it quite well. It is a risky investment, I feel that the Governments are ready to do something, so I fear to see them lose even more value in the future.

@Butterfingers I know and I wonder why they did not move long ago to regulate and unregulated market that is now causing serious power problems because the "mining" is polluting more than many other stuff.

I followed it for a while and thought about investing in it, but the ups and downs are just too stressful for me. To me it's not worth the headache. I will just invest in the old-fashioned way, in stocks and bonds and mutual funds.
