I am watching news and I have learned that unvaccinated individuals are not allowed to take public transportation, enter the malls, eat in restaurants.
Though they are allowed to go outside if they want to buy the essentials such as food and medicine.
As for me, I love being at home and I buy fish, meats and the likes online. My husband is fully vaccinated so he is the one doing grocery shopping.
What abou you? Are unvaccinated people not allowed to go to the malls and restaurants?

This is ridiculous! Who makes these rules? Unvaccinated people are allowed to go to the mall (shopping centres in the UK) and restaurants. They are allowed to go to big venues as long as they can provide a negative test. Where do you live?

People who don't want to get sick/don't want Covid spreading more than it already is are the main driving force behind that in the US. *shrug* I've been vaccinated so don't see a problem with it.

Here vaccinated or unvaccinated can go wherever they want. Just if you’re unvaccinated you need a mask and even some places vaccinated people have to wear masks.
Everyone in my house is vaccinated.

@Janet357 free is kind of word you got to be careful with. Yes and no not all vaccinated here are required Covid is one that isn’t required currently but some are like. A lot of people do have a Covid card need for Ike work documents or certainly places it just allow you not to wear your mask for that sport or to be able to work. My husband is a nurse so they always have to wear mask doctors offices it’s required regardless if you have or haven not been Covid vaccinated. Some people would say that if they have to have the Covid vaccinated it’s against one of there civil rights but that’s a whole different area

It depends. That type of thing is being left up to individual places or, in some cases, the city government. Although more and more places want to see a vaccination card before allowing people entrance. And yes, public transportation is also becoming like this.

@Janet357 But they have some kind of protection already than the unvaccinated which can be a feast for virus to freely propagate since unvaccinated people doesn’t know how to defend themselves from it. I think the virus would want a host that is not yet aware of their presence because they can freely use your body to propagate and create havoc.

This " inutile" government is again in their stupid ideas of controlling the pandemic and this is one of the most ridiculous so far.

@Janet357 nothing is more stupid than that barrier shield the motorcycle passenger had to hold even if they are husband and wife and share the same house. In my opinion this happens when you put too much military, police and generals to handle a medical problem, so its all checkpoints and curfews.
I'm not insulting or underestimating the capacity of our gallant men in uniform but they should be more for enforcement and allow more medical people to make major decisions. Again in my opinion it's a reflection of poor leadership.

I don't get it. If they are not allowed to out and take public transport, how can they buy essential if they cannot take the bus or jeepney?

I think your not even allowed if you don't bring your vaccine card.
They are being cautious now. I feel sad because some of them can't really get vaccinated due to allergic problems or other serious side effects.

Rules seem to vary from country to country. I do wonder if we'll ever stop the spread and life will return to what we used to know as normal.

@Janet357 me too. Remember when you could be spontaneous and didn't have to think about anything and could come and go at your whim. No mandates, no social distancing, no masks, no family gatherings, etc. Life was just easier

I don't think this rule is in place in the UK yet.
