Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. The number of Covid cases have rised a lot in Mumbai and Delhi states of India. The worst news is that the doctors have got infected too apart from common people. In Mumbai, over 200 residents doctors from three hospitals run by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) are infected and kept in isolation centres. Moreover, the 60 employees of BEST i.e. Bus Service in Mumbai have been infected too. In Delhi, 50 doctors in AIIMS hospital, a very popular hospital have got infected and kept in isolation wards. In other 4 hospitals, over 100 doctors have got infection too. The current scenario looks so terrible as if the doctors and medical staff is affected by the virus, then who will take care of us??!! I just hope and pray that they recover soon and somehow the cases come under control and the virus just disappears from here. Share your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care!!!

@rashnag Same story here. Many health care workers, doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers etc having to isolate. It is reckoned that it will be late in January before the rate of infection starts to fall here.

@JimBo452020 Well our lot, having ruled that masks are to be mandatory in certain places have decided in their wisdom not to set a date for it to come into law - and we’re still paying them for that kind of dithering.

@xFiacre It's not a good step to not make masks mandatory. Here it's mandatory everywhere else fine is charged and punishment given by police

It's scary the way this new variant is spreading. It's the same story worldwide. Many new cases are reported in our apartment. And the scary part is that most of them are asymptomatic. We are living in scary and unpredictable times

@Rashnag We are quite careful. But then sometimes one is not sure if that's enough. Many including me got it in second wave despite all precautions in place.

@arunima25 True indeed. I understand. We can be cautious as much as we can. Sometimes never know from where we can get it

Doctors are people who deal directly with Covid patients, so they are very at risk of getting infected.

Since there is a new variant of Covid-19, again and again it spread all over the world. The things we can do are build up our body's immune system, eat healthy food, and keep praying that this pandemic will be finished soon. GBU
