A challenge for the day

My daughter was telling me about Wordle recently and then I saw a discussion here about it, so curiosity got the better of me and today I took a look. I managed to solve the puzzle but I enjoyed it so much I immediately tried to have another puzzle to solvebut it wouldn't supply one. It was impossible until tomorrow. A puzzle a day keeps boredom away.....or maybe addition! As I get hooked on such games I felt a sense of relief that I would not have to battle between the desire to play and the need to do some housework. . .

I hope you enjoy the word puzzles every day. I get stuck on myLot sometimes, but my daughter will tell me I have to get off the computer when she needs me for something. No rest for the wicked, as they say.

Only one word puzzle a day and to be honest, after doing three days I am finding the puzzle rather easy. myLot is uncompromisingly addictive and more interesting. My main problem with myLot is finding pictures via pixabay. It used to be easier but now it takes more time to find a picture than it takes to solve my Wordle puzzle.

@41CombedaleRoad I love playing on myLot. Most of the photos I use are my own. Once in a while I'll ask another site for a picture, though. I've spent most of the last two days sleeping. My eyes swelled closed so I couldn't see to read or type. They aren't open very far now and I'm worried they're going closed again.

I start the day with Wordle, my excuse is that it gets the little grey cells moving. I have to say however that it is simple to play and so far I have found the word in a short time. It isn't hard, but it feels good to get the secret word.

I haven't heard of it. It sounds like an interesting game. Only one a day would keep addiction at bay.

That is true for me anyway. So I am glad for the restriction.

When you are caught in an activity and time passes quickly. And when you realize that, you're trying to make up for lost time!

That is true. After Wordle a note comes up to invite you to play spelling Bee, which in my experience is more time consuming than Wordle. However they cut you off when you reach a certain score, praise you for being good at the game and then say you can continue guessing new words if you pay a little money every month! Irritating.
